Production Coordinator DATE: July 24, 2008 STATUS: 40 hrs/wk SALARY: 34,000 in Salary with Bonus REPORTS TO: Vice President of Production Company Profile Platinum Broadcasting is an independent media production company, specializing in educational programming for national and international markets. We create, produce and distribute half-hour magazine style programs to major cable networks throughout North America Production Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a Production Coordinator to play a leading role in the growth of our production department. The candidate will be responsible for the scheduling of production shoots, and the ability to interact with other department staff for tracking and processing all relevant production details. They also will be required to perform other duties as requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to work within tight scheduling deadlines Knowledgeable with ACT, Outlook and Word Prior work experience with DPs and camera operators Able to create shot list and manage coordination of shoots Strong work ethic Ability to work independently without supervision to meet department goals Must be a Team player and have a positive attitude

Required Skills, Education and Experience Minimum 2 years work experience in Television Production Industry a MUST Excellent written and oral communications Knowledge of PC and software applications The highest level of integrity Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop positive relationships with other staff members.
