We are currently seeking a reliable individual to work as a Production Assistant during news and entertainment programs performing the studio position assigned by the manager.

Duties may include: floor director, camera operator, teleprompter operator, videotape playback operator, audio operator and character generator operator. As a Production Assistant, the candidate will work in a studio or control room position and performs the tasks, as assigned.

The Production Assistant will operate technical equipment, communicates and work closely with the director on duty and other team members, and assist with general studio set-up, appearance, and tear down.

This is an entry level position, so a minimum of one year live and/or post-production experience is preferred. Ability to work under pressure and to follow directions a must. Also must have the ability to work well in a team environment. Bachelors Degree in Communication with production background is preferred, but not required.
