A national talk show is looking for an EXPERIENCED NEWS BOOKER & ASSIGNMENT EDITOR/NEWS PRODUCER for its News department. The right candidates will have industry contacts, experience tracking down and booking people from news stories for a nationally syndicated television program and/or local news station. The ideal candidates are resourceful, self-motivated, organized, and a team player. He or she will be reliable, driven, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal Booker will be able to quickly and efficiently secure news bookings a month. The Assignment Editor needs to have prior Editor experience. BOTH News Booker & Assignment Editor will also be required to come up with and execute ideas for upcoming shows, foster relationships with industry professionals, and be internet savvy.
