THE JOB:   Currently accepting resumes for a Media Buyer

THE PLACE:   Fort Lauderdale, FL

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall Objective:

• Responsible for overseeing day-to-day activity of accounts assigned, specifically:


• For all National Retail Accounts


• For all National Direct Response Accounts


• Supervising all National based (Retail & Direct Response) media accounts and National buyers and support personnel.

Day to Day:   

• Extensive experience with negotiating large volumes of National business within all National television  media (Syndication, Network, and Cable Networks)


• Ability to include appropriate added value properties/creative and tactical deliverables.


• Maintain knowledge of market conditions that may impact planning for clients.


• Understands how to negotiate packages


• Possess long term media relationships with Syndicators, Network,
  And Cable Networks. Able to call the top management for special    involvement


• Ability to Travel and create and deliver presentations to clients


• Ability to attend Network Upfronts with prior experience in these presentations


• Proficient with National buying tools, research applications, and technical media conversion of estimates.
  Constant follow-thru on delivery (prelogs, post logs, posting)


• Creating strategic integrated packages beyond traditional television and outside the box thinking to meet client goals

• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience


• 5+ years experience as a Media Buyer in an advertising agency with a focus on national television buys.
