Local Sales Assistant to provide assistance to General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager and Account Executives to maximize efficiency of sales support.

Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, or education in sales or marketing related courses will be evaluated by department management and may be substituted on the basis on one year of experience equals one year of education. Two years of progressively responsible general office experience preferably in the areas of advertising, sales, or broadcast-related environment. Knowledge of personal computers to include Microsoft Office including word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics software. Knowledge of business correspondence formats and guidelines. Good composition, proofreading, and editing skills. Ability to operate a keyboard, copier, CRT, fax machine and other office equipment. Ability to work quickly and accurately with names, numbers, codes and symbols. Proven planning and organizational skills as well as ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
