Responsible for the daily lighting set-up and maintaining the lighting of sets while being able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Studio lamp, focus checks and held responsible for maintaining the appearance of the visual on-air look to achieve high production value.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment with in the studios.
* Setting up lighting equipment before each show.
* Hang/dress lights.
* Focus lights.
* Programming of shows on Strand light pallet consol.
* Access, distribute and dress power needs for a set on a small scale basis.
* Basic understanding and working field knowledge, of HMI equipment.
* Changing lamps & gels.
* Move lighting equipment as needed.
* Grip and expendable inventories.
* Assists Sets team as needed.
* Attend camera blockings.
* Drive Large Vehicles with Manual Transmission

Minimum Requirements:
* 2-4years in television or film production with lighting experience.
* Degree in related field or equivalent work history in related field.
* Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of studio equipment including sets, props, cameras, conventionals, HMI, moving lights, RGB, CMY fixtures and DMX control.
* Intermediate working knowledge of programming Strand Light Pallet consol.
* Intermediate working knowledge of light meters.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of Word and Outlook.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must be able to build and maintain good working relationships with a diverse group of individuals and personalities.
* Must be able to lead a crew of 1 to 3 people on small scale projects.
* Detail-oriented.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to achieve projects individually and work with a team.
* Valid Florida Driver’s License.
* Able to drive 24box truck with a manual or standard transmission
