Emmy-nominated visual effects boutique specializing in historical recreations and motion graphics seeks responsible, energetic Lead Maya Animator for upcoming television and film projects. This is a project-based hire with strong potential for rollover.

We are looking for enthusiastic artists who are able to thrive under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment. Must communicate and work well with VFX Supervisor and Producer.

The ideal applicant:
- Has an excellent eye for detail.
- Has strong multi-tasking, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Is personally motivated to provide exceptional work.
- Grasps how his/her work fits into the bigger production environment.
- Can quickly apply new knowledge to benefit the task at hand.
- Can work creatively with a tight team of artists under strict deadlines.

Must have a demonstrable ability to create realistic action of hard-surface models in various environments. Must be able to animate both to specific and free-form direction. Proficiency in Maya is essential; pre-viz experience a plus.
