Job Posting Date: 11/18/09 Experienced and talented creative content development and production executive to oversee original content development and production for the world's largest communication company.
This position will identify, develop, negotiate, produce, and manage original content productions, co-productions and advanced content applications for our multiple entertainment and communications platforms (television, online, mobile and emerging).
Determines and executes original content strategy, establish and procure budget, and deliver content to consumers across all platforms.
Will work very closely with other members of the Content Team on delivering multi-platform content from established content providers such as networks, studios, sports leagues, independent producers, agencies, consultants, talent agents, managers, record labels, music executives and talent.
Will be creative filter for incoming pitches, vetting potential projects internally with senior management and other stakeholders.
Will provide direction and support to various internal departments including Consumer Marketing, Sponsorship, Branding/Media, and Product teams. Candidate must be able to effectively build consensus in matrix organization, communicate clearly and deliver results across various disciplines and organizations, both internally and externally.

Reports to EVP, Content and Programming. Staff and budget management responsibilities. Travel required.
Requirements/Accreditations/Skills:
BA or BS degree required; graduate degree preferred
Over 10 years of senior management level content development and production experience across all digital platforms required
Expertise with current and emerging cross-platform technologies, TV production techniques and practices
Experience writing, reviewing, and negotiating content and production contracts and deal memos |
