This is a job for someone who is both technical and creative, likes the service business and enjoys being involved in all aspects of post production. We are currently in Post Production on our full length 35mm feature film and starting production on another feature film. In addition to providing video post production services to our High Profile Cable Network and Broadcast clients, the right candidate has opportunity to get involved with our film productions- from assistant editing, working on the scenes, DI scans, music, creating titles, color correction/conform to creating and supervising the VFX.
The ongoing job entails Avid and FCP HD Online and Offline editing, DVD authoring, graphics, tape duplication, replication, compression, and format conversions.
Candidate must have several years of practical industry experience, must be proficient in editing and troubleshooting both Avid (Nitris / Adrenaline) and Final Cut Pro. Mac & PC proficient. Working knowledge of professional videotape standards and frame rates, waveform monitors, vector scopes and video signal flow, all format VTR’s, HD cross-conversion and aspect ratio conversions, Video compression, (Photo shop/ After Effects very helpful).
