We are seeking a Director, Rights & Clearances Admin for the Rights Administration department. Position will supervise a staff of 2 managers and indirectly 6 researchers directly responsible for all rights, clearance, holdbacks and product attributes on all WBITDI's library of products containing over 51,000 hours of programming worldwide. Identify, develop and implement new procedures to continually increase efficiency in workflow and address daily administrative issues that directly affect sales and bring them to the attention of the Vice President. Approve business justifications and user-acceptance testing for system enhancements. Provide training, direction and development to staff as well as resolve personnel issues. Provide input on assisting staff meet deadlines imposed by pending sales and finance close. Responsible for development of current system (ITD) enhancements in the area of standard rights, clearances, and product attributes.

B.A. degree required. Mainframe experience preferred. Intermediate MS Word and Excel proficiency. Access skills preferred. 2 5 years rights administration and/or contract experience required. 2+ years international television distribution experience preferred. 3+ years managing and/or supervising staff preferred. 3+ years experience in system enhancements preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work under tight deadlines. Must be detailed oriented. Strong analytical skills. Strong project management/organization skills. Must be able to work with all levels of management. Must be able to supervise staff of 5+ and handle personnel issues/conflicts.
