The Director of International Sales will be an experienced sales professional with demonstrated success selling programming internationally. He or She must be well organized with a strong understanding of licensing agreements and television rights.
The responsibilities of the Director of International Sales include:
- Responsible for sales in assigned markets.
- Maintain relationships with the main broadcasters and distributors in such assigned territories.
- Contribute to new market development and identify opportunities in assigned territories.
- Manage availabilities of programs in each assigned territory as well as maximizing windowing in each market.
- Create an annual sales and revenue budget and then follow up to ensure goals are met with upper management.
- Work with legal department to create licensing agreements
- Attend key international television markets. Creates reports of meetings attended during each market.
- Reports to the Senior Vice President of International Sales
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of sales experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Foreign language and relationship with International buyers a plus.
