We are currently seeking candidates to fill the following position:

DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER - This position supports the Development team by producing demos and casting reels as well as coordinating their delivery to the client. Reports to the Director of Development. Responsibilities include: Identifying show opportunities, subject matters and talent. Researching show subjects. Producing, writing, shooting, and editing demo/casting reels. This may include filming new reels and/or editing together existing footage. Coordinating with the Development Writer/Researcher and Development Assistant to assemble the materials for clients. Providing input regarding show/series budget and schedule. Providing input regarding overall department strategy, prioritizing, and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS Television production experience required. Must be able to work independently and communicate well with others. Deadline oriented and attention to detail is a must. Proficient in Final Cut. The candidate should have a sense whats hot in tv trends/cultural zeitgeist and be able to identify interesting show concepts through brainstorming and recognizing what/who pops in everyday life. A creative producer and writer who can shoot and edit. Someone who has broad interests and is a fast learner. A strong communicator and team player who can learn existing systems and works well with people. This person is aware of television trends and can brainstorm new programming topics as well as program formats.
