Candidate will be responsible for the overall on-air look and marketing efforts of this New England duopoly. The Creative Services Director must be able to work closely with the News Department to manage daily requests and monitor quality control of graphics within the newscasts. Ideal candidate will also oversee daily teases, topicals, continuing coverage spots and POP's. A strong understanding and ability to interpret broadcast ratings and station research is needed. They will oversee the design, execution and maintenance of the station’s website and manage a marketing plan to support and drive traffic to the site. Individual must also be able to execute a marketing plan to attract incremental syndication and co-op dollars to promote programming. The CSD will be challenged with utilizing their personal and technical skills to execute key projects and develop a strong creative team. Ensures all on-air/off-air and overall advertising and promotional efforts are positioned to meet the station's strategic objectives. The C.S.D. will supervise all art direction and graphics, as well as oversee all community relations efforts.
A college degree and 5 years of management experience is required.
