Reporting to the Director of Creative Services and working as part of the Creative Services team, the Associate Editor is responsible for archiving game highlights, delivering requested graphics and editing promotional content

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify highlights and edit topical Red Sox and Bruins spots

· Customize promo spots weekly with day/date, team/time tune-in graphics and voiceover information

· Dub/deliver promo spot reels for weekly schedule

· Organize, import and deliver graphics and animation packages in coordination with CS designers, production producers and tape room personnel

· Work with Creative Services producers to create and maintain Red Sox and Bruins promo highlight archive system

· Complete other related tasks and assignments as needed



QUALIFICATIONS:

· Advanced Final Cut Pro (FCP)/Avid training

· Well-versed in all aspects of video production

· Proficient in non-linear FCP and Avid editing

· After Effects skills a plus

· Solid ability to meet aggressive deadlines, take direction and collaborate with Creative Services team

· Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize

Ability to successfully work in a fast paced, loosely structured, growing and changing work environment

Must have strong communication skills

Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also able to work effectively within a team environment

Must possess a positive attitude

Able to work a flexible schedule
