We are currently seeking candidates to fill the following position:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - DEVELOPMENT: This position supports the Development team administratively. Reports to the Director of Development. Responsibilities include: Arranging all aspects of sales trips and business conferences for the Development team (setting up meetings, travel, accommodations, registration, etc.). Setting up conference calls. Keeping track of the department calendar, organizing development materials (i.e. treatments, demo reels, casting tapes, research), and fielding initial inquiries to the department. Assisting in maintaining the information on the company website. Creating press kits. Performing development research when needed.
REQUIREMENTS Television production or media-related experience preferred. Must be able to work independently. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented (grammar, spelling, etc.) MORE The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. This position will interact with contacts at channels, agencies, and other companies to set up meetings and calls. We need a fast learner who can act as a walking industry directory familiar with network clients, their team members, and other players in the business. This is a great entry-level position for those who are interested in the television business.
