About The Job

Our network’s office in Sydney has a position available for a Senior Scheduler.

Reporting to the Network Program Schedule Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of our program schedule and the distribution of the schedule internally and externally.

You will also assist with future program planning and buying, as well as program compile and delivery.

Other aspects of the role include:
• Preparing and distributing program schedule amendments
• Preparation of weekly ratings reports
• Program previewing
• Planning program budgets in conjunction with Finance

You must be self-motivated and extremely organized, and have a detailed knowledge of the Network’s program schedules. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is paramount in this role. Knowledge of IBMS and Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) is extremely desirable, as well as an understanding of broadcast formats. The ideal candidate will also have a good feel for program compiling and what is required to maximize viewer retention. They will also have had some experience in managing staff.
