About The Job

One of Australia’s most innovative and exciting entertainment-based media companies, is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join its Canberra based Operations department in the role of Ingest Operator.

Your new role will see you responsible for Ingest of commercial, program and promotional content across our networks. You will also look after program timeing and cueing as well as backing up and restoring of programs on server or tape.

Make no mistake, we are after the best! As the successful applicant you will:

• Work in a team environment on a 24 x 7 rotational shift roster.
• Operate on a solo basis for extended periods.
• Be familiar and work within the Australian Broadcasting Code of Practice.
• Liaise with other departments, eg: Programming, Traffic, Studio, Regional
• Possess intermediate computer skills on software and diagnostics.
• Be Familiar with Aspect Ratios.
• Have a strong fault finding and trouble-shooting skills.
• Be competent in the operation of videotape and non-linear machines in record and replay modes.
• Have the ability to perform more complex VTR edits.
